Ron Paul Part 2
Ironically, the Wall Street Journal has an article today entitled Why Ron Paul Matters. We liked our title yesterday better, and are always pleased when we scoop the Journal, but this op-ed piece gives a more complete description of some key areas that Ron Paul differs from other candidates. It is well-worth the read.
We spoke to one of our acquaintances who starts manning a phone bank today for Ron Paul. Another left for Iowa just recently to be boots on the ground for Paul. We are amazed at the passion we see for Ron Paul, although we don’t necessarily share it. But our minds are open.
Nexus Politix is not here to push Ron Paul or any candidate for that matter, but we do feel his views need wider readership since the media has all but ignored him up to now. He obviously stirs up a lot of emotion, as evidenced by the couple of comments we received in the blog post yesterday that we urge you read.
On the back of the Wall Street Journal this morning there is a full-page ad for the debut of American Idol this Wednesday and Thursday. We are reminded from that show how the eventual winners grow through each episode, and we’ll be interested to see how the Republican candidates continue to move on and grow while others drop out as this campaign progresses. Iowa will be their first contest, and we are looking forward to it.
Happy New Year from Nexus Politix!
